DMCA Copyright Policy

YT ToolBox ("we", "us", or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement.

1. No Content Hosting

Please note that YT ToolBox is simply an extraction tool that utilizes the public YouTube Data API. We do not host, store, or transmit any copyrighted video content, thumbnails, or metadata on our servers. All content belongs to its respective owners and is hosted on YouTube's servers.

2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent and believe that any functionality on our website infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a DMCA Takedown Notice. Your notice must include the following information:

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
A description of where the material you claim is infringing is located on our website (provide specific URLs).
Your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and an email address.
A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

3. Submitting the Notice

Please send your DMCA Takedown Notice to our designated Copyright Agent via email at: legal@yttoolbox.github.io (Note: Please replace with your actual support email when available).

4. Counter-Notice

If you believe that your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you have the right to file a counter-notice containing your contact details, a description of the removed material, and a statement under penalty of perjury.
